"Export-grade" gets used loosely in this industry. At GGCL it refers to a specific, repeatable inspection system that runs from raw material intake to the moment a container is sealed — not a one-time check before dispatch.
It starts with certification. Our manufacturing base holds ISO 9001:2015 for quality management, PED AD 2000 and AD2000-W0 for pressure equipment and material manufacturing standards, and a SMETA-audited supply chain covering labour safety, environmental practice and business ethics. These aren't framed certificates gathering dust — they define how the production floor actually operates.
Zero-defect isn't a slogan here. It's a measurable outcome of in-process inspection, digital measurement and pre-shipment verification on every batch.
On the floor, that translates into in-process inspections at each production stage, real-time monitoring of press and kiln parameters, and digital measurement of dimension, tone and surface finish rather than visual spot-checks alone. Every batch is verified again before it's packed, so what leaves Morbi matches what was sampled and approved weeks earlier — no surprises when the container is opened on the other side of the world.
For an importer, this matters more than any brochure claim. A tile that's 2mm out of tolerance, or a batch with a visible tone shift between boxes, isn't a minor issue once it's installed across a hotel lobby or a retail chain's flagship store. Our quality system exists to make sure that problem never reaches the job site in the first place.
