Every export house has an origin story, and ours starts in 1994 with Flora Ceramics, a single wall-tile manufacturing unit in Morbi, Gujarat — the town that would go on to become India's ceramic manufacturing capital. What began as one production line has grown, unit by unit, into GruppoNueva: an integrated ecosystem of four specialist factories, and GGCL (Gruppo Griffin Ceramica LLP), the dedicated export house that connects that ecosystem to the world.
The growth was deliberate rather than opportunistic. Solo Ceramic Floors followed in 1996, expanding the wall-tile range. Solar Ceramic arrived in 2000 with a focus on porcelain parking tiles. In 2010, Cosa Ceramics was established to produce big-format porcelain stoneware — a bet on where global architecture was heading. Gryphon Ceramics opened in 2017 to manufacture ultra-compact sintered stone, well ahead of the material's current boom in Indian exports. GGCL itself was formed in 2019 to give this growing family of factories a single, professional export front.

The most recent additions reflect where we see the next decade of demand: Nueva Mosaics LLP launched in 2021 for pressed and cut porcelain mosaics, and Flooret Ceramics India became operational in 2025, bringing next-generation slab manufacturing online. Today, the four units together are capable of 36,000 sqm of porcelain stoneware and 10,000 pieces of sintered stone every single day, run by a workforce of over 1,050 skilled professionals.
None of that capacity matters to an importer unless it can be delivered reliably. That's the real function GGCL performs: one point of contact for sampling, quality control, documentation and logistics, regardless of which of the four factories a container is drawn from. It's how a manufacturing base in Morbi ended up on job sites and in showrooms across 71+ countries — not through a single lucky order, but through three decades of adding capability one factory at a time.
